Infocare was founded by experienced medical practitioners and healthcare leaders who recognised key challenges across healthcare, including fragmented systems, workforce shortages and limited access to timely care. Combining over five decades of clinical experience with expertise in governance, operations and digital technology, they created Infocare to address these challenges through one integrated platform.

Dr Sanjay Nijhawan

Dr Sanjay Nijhawan is a distinguished physician and accomplished healthcare executive whose career spans more than three decades of clinical excellence and senior leadership.

He has held key leadership positions within the healthcare sector, most notably as Head of Standards and Development at Primary Health Care Limited (now Healius).

Dr Nijhawan co-founded Maxlife Care, a premium disability and aged care provider, and guided its growth as Chief Executive Officer for nearly six years. Board experience includes his current directorship of Vertical Health Management, a former directorship with Specialist Medical Services, and his earlier appointment as Deputy Chairman of a regional Division of General Practice.

His qualifications combine clinical and business expertise, including an MBBS, Fellowships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, a qualification in Management of Health Care Delivery from Harvard Business School, and graduation from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Dr Laji Mathew

Dr Laji Mathew is an accomplished physician with 25 years of clinical practice in general medicine across regional, rural and metropolitan settings. His extensive career has provided him with comprehensive insight into the delivery of healthcare across diverse communities and clinical environments.

With specialist interests in disability, aged care and anaesthetics, Dr Mathew possesses considerable expertise in the management of patients with complex and high-acuity care requirements. He brings substantial experience in health industry management, clinical quality assurance and multidisciplinary care coordination, and is recognised for establishing stable, well-governed care environments that deliver consistently positive outcomes.

In his capacity as Head of Clinical Services, Dr Mathew directs the training and professional development of support workers, team leaders and supervisors, and establishes the clinical standards that underpin safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

Gino Philip

Director

Drawing on more than 14 years of experience in technology and digital strategy, including as founder of Planet Media Australia, Gino Philip leads the digital vision behind Infocare.

He oversees the design and development of the platform, making sure every booking, connection and payment is smart, secure and easy to use. His mission is to make healthcare simpler and more accessible through technology, building a trusted platform that patients, clinics and healthcare professionals can rely on every day.
